- Crystal File or 240 Grit Board File
- 220/280 Buffer (Optional)
- Gel II® Super Shine
- Gel II® LED Light
- Gel II® No Base Coat Gel Polish
- Gel II® Extreme Top Coat
These simple steps are all it takes to get a perfect glossy manicure that will last 3 weeks!
For a brilliant manicure that you want to last for 3-4 weeks we suggest using Gel II® G002 – French Pink underneath the gel color of choice! This added layer of gel polish helps strengthen the foundation of your manicure without using harmful base coats, bond-aids, and primers.
To guarantee the best long lasting manicure use the entire Gel II® Manicure system, including our NEW Gel II® LED cordless light!
Shape nails using a Crystal File or 240 Grit Board File. (Buffing is optional by using 220/280 buffer. Preferred for oily nails.)
Cleanse nails with Gel II® Super Shine.
Polish thin layer of Gel II® No Base Coat Polish of choice and cure under Gel II® LED light for 50 seconds. (We do not recommend a UV lamp cure. To guarantee superior results use the Gel II® LED light. Shake bottle for 30 seconds before each use.)
Apply second coat and let hand rest under light for another 50 seconds.
Polish over color with Gel II® Extreme Top Coat and rest hand under light for 50 seconds.
Wipe over nails with Gel II® Super Shine and viola! (If using Gel II® No Cleanse Top Coat you can SKIP Step 6!)
Gel Polish Removal Process
Items you will need:
- 240 Grit Nail File
- 220/280 Buffer
- Gel II® Gentle Soak or 100% Acetone
- Gel II® Foil Wraps
- Orangewood Stick
- Hot Towel
Easy to remove, as it is to apply! The Gel II® Gentle Soak Removal takes less than 15 minutes and helps nails stay healthy and vibrant after gel is removed!
Gel II® No Base Gel Polish has the most innovative formula to create a superior healthy bond that may take longer to remove than traditional gels. To ensure healthy nails, don’t speed up removal!)
Buff nails with 240 Grit File; removing the shine.
Dampen Cotton with Gel II® Gentle Soak and place directly on nail. Wrap foil around finger tightly.
Wrap hot towel around hands and set for 15 minutes.
Remove foils and begin pushing gel polish off of nail with orangewood stick.
Once gel is removed, buff nails with 220/280 buffing block.
